Temperatures Starting to Drop...Winter's Coming

A little less heat wouldn't bother me a bit, so with the recent drop in temperatures I'm reminded that winter isn't too far off! Before we know it the powder will be falling and we'll be hittin' the slopes again! Fresh snow, sunny blue New Mexico skies, some great Southwestern food for dinner (or a nice juicy steak) --
who could ask for a better weekend or vacation getaway?! But before winter hits, we still have the glory of the fall -- changing colors, the smell of pinon burning in the fireplace to take out the chill from the air, and roasted chilies! Arts and wool festivals, pumpkins and cider, and of course the annual hot-air balloon festival in Albuquerque -- I'll take the time to enjoy the autumn before winter hits!
